About me

Marie Plucknett is a menswear designer who uses fashion as a response to her experience with societal manners and human surroundings. It often has to do with sensibility, seeking poetry in taken for granted objects. She takes a conceptual side in her practice of fashion, meaning to interrogate established thoughts around garments. To do so she questions and revisit the idea of a garment, working with archetypes and testing the limit of their definitions.
