This project is a model of a mountain, the transparent part of which is snow and ice that has melted away. We always forget what it was like until someone compares it with what it is now and we are surprised at the extent of the change. Its purpose is to remind people that much of the glacier has now melted away and to raise awareness of environmental protection.
